Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation - Albert Lasker Awards Archives
The Lasker Awards were given through the American Public Health Association from 1946 through 1960. The collection includes correspondence, nominee files, legal papers, minutes, jury materals, guest lists, clippings, printed material, and files relating to award winners. It documents the selection process, public relations, and presentation of the Albert Lasker Awards. Four-year accumulations of records are added periodically.
Committee for the Nation's Health Records from the Michael M. Davis Collection, in the New York Academy of Medicine
Incorporated 1946 with Michael M. Davis, Ph.D., as chair of its Executive Committee, its purpose was to promote national health insurance. With the election of Eisenhower in 1952 it began to function as a health information office for organized labor. The committee was abolished in January, 1956.

Mike Gorman Papers
Thomas Francis "Mike" Gorman (1913-1989), a noted journalist, author, publicist, lobbyist and advocate for health causes and an ally of the philanthropist Mary Lasker. The bulk of the collection consists of speeches, publications, notes, minutes and memoranda. Most of the material reflects Gorman's career after he became involved in publicity and lobbying in the 1950s.
